Translation of the Chinese astrological hand-book Xu Yuxia ji, the “Jade Box for Various Needs”. The work was translated in 1839 by Jalan Guusiya under the title Sin-e orčiγuluγsan eldeb keregtü qas qaγurčaγ neretü bičig (as given on p. 12 of the text). The text was printed the same year in Beijing (but is no longer extant), and printed a second time in 1895, containing also the Jang tien se-yin jokiyal-un γučin edür-ün ebečin-i jasaqu sajaγ, see Heissig 1954, No. 218.
