This Thar pa chen po edition is a handwritten copy of the translation prepared by Kun dga’ ’od zer and printed for the first time in 1650 (Heissig 1954, No. 1). The printing note (fol. 35r18-21) is identical with the printing note of the manuscript described by Heissig/Sagaster 1961, No. 273, but does not contain the printing date.1
