Ms, pothi, 52,5 : 18,8 cm (40 : 14), fol. 1-267v + 1 fol., fol. 233 missing, 23-30 lines, left margin r: nögüge bölög followed by Mongolian pagination. Calamus, text framed in black, the opening lines of the individual texts are written in red; left margin outside black frame: handwritten Tibetan marginal titles, clearly later addition; up to fol. 58v Tibetan chapter headings ji-je, from fol. 59r onwards no Tibetan letter headings; numerous Tibetan glosses throughout the text. The first and last fol. are stitched on brown cloth. In the middle of the first fol. the formula namo buddhay-a, namo dharmay-a, namo sanghay-a is written in red script, the space for illustrations at the left and right side is left blank. Strong, brownish Chinese paper, frequently torn and frayed at the edges; water stains; especially the first and last fols. are in bad condition; fol. 267 partly destroyed by mould; incomplete.
