Beijing xyl., pothi, 67 : 23,2 cm (53,5 : 17,4), fol. 1-257r + 1 back fol. + 4 fols. dKar chag (separately numbered), r: 27 lines, v.: 28 lines, left margin r: chapter (jüil) signature in Tibetan followed by Mongolian volume number, Mongolian pagination and Chinese pagination; left margin v: Chinese pagination; left side of fol. 1: illustration in red of Buddha Maitreya set in red ornamental frame, inscription at the right: Mayidari; right side: illustration in red of Buddha Bhaiṣajyaguru set in red ornamental frame, inscription at the left: otači. Thick yellowish Chinese paper, cover fol. broken in one place, in other places repaired with paper strips glued on; back fol.: illustrations in red of the four lokapāla Virūḍhaka, Dhṛtarāṣṭra, Virūpakṣa and Vaiśrāvaṇa set in red ornamental frame, inscriptions in Tibetan underneath (from left to right): ’phags skyes la na mo, yul ’khor la na mo, mig mi bzang la na mo, rnam thos sras la na mo. The illustrations on the back fol. are very faded and the script is nearly illegible. The four fols. of the enclosed dKar chag are in poor condition.
