Description and praise of the 15 previous emanations of the Second lČang skya Qutuγtu Rol pa’i rdo rje (1717-1786). The work was composed (probably before 1776)5 by the Third Panchen Lama Blo bzang dpal ldan ye shes in Tibetan under the title Dad pa’i pad mo kha yongs su ’byed pa’i gru char and translated into Mongolian by Dai güisi. The original Mongolian title of this translation is Getülgegči oγoγata tegüsügsen šasin-i geyigülügči degedü blama guvan ding puu šan zi da gu srigi lčang sgya rin po ce degedü qubilγan beye-tü-yin töröl-ün üyes-eče erkilen toγurbiju jalbarin batu-da orosiγulqu ünen üges-i ügülegsen süsüg-ün lingqu-a-yi delgeregülügči jögelen qura kemekü orosiba.6 The text of the Ernst collection is a later, second translation of the work, prepared towards the end of the 18th century by Damba jorači7 according to the request of Sonam of the Siluγun köke of the Naiman-banner under the slightly divergent title given in the colophon above. The scribe was Šaγšabad from the Yamandaga süme at Beijing. There also exists a trilingual edition (Sanskrit-Tibetan-Mongolian), see Heissig 1954, No. 154, and Uspensky 1999, No. 512.
The text was translated into German by Unkrig 1950.8
