About the Press
BOP Books is a publication platform of the University Library of Bern. BOP Books publishes peer-reviewed scholarly books and book series by researchers at the University of Bern in open access under a Creative Commons license.
The publications on BOP Books are primarily electronic. However, a print-on-demand option is also available.
Peer review
Publications on BOP Books are peer-reviewed.
In exceptional cases, editor review is also accepted. This is decided by the scientific advisory board
Scientific advisory board
The Scientific Advisory Board decides on the acceptance of book series and individual volumes and is responsible for the quality of the peer review.
The Scientific Advisory Board of BOP Books is broadly oriented and consists of professors of the University of Bern and professors or directors of the centers and interfaculty units.
